Stuff I Made

x-cellent Website

In my times as a working student at x-cellent, I was the primary developer for the internet presence of my employer. In this period I learned much about web development, including the standard stuff like HTML/CSS/JS, but also full stack development from a Go backend to an Angular frontend.
Additionally, I am responsible for the Docker containers and the CI/CD Pipelines, which are the foundation of the site environment.

Catalog App for Windows Phone

In the university I attend students take a four-month practicum in their fifth semester for their field. In this short time, I programmed the Windows Phone version of the company's catalog app in C#. Sadly, the app doesn't exist anymore on the windows store. In the picture, you can see a screenshot. I really liked the animations I made for it.

Smart Punch

My first group project with more than three persons took place in the fourth semester. There our team trained the software to recognize different punches and their execution with machine learning.
We had a Bluetooth motion tracker to track punches and a pressure sensor on a punching ball to measure the strength. Our Java software recognized the blow and gave a score for the execution. My part was to ensure the connection of the sensors to the software.

Golden Quest

The sixth semester of my studies included a project, again. In this assignment, I took part in developing a game interdisciplinary between Interactive Media and Computer Science.
I took the lead for team code and was actively programming the business logic of the board game we were making while coordinating with design and modeling.

Kitch It

The master also provided a big project. My team was trying to control smart home devices with voice. To prove our concepts, we coded an Alexa Skill, who could lead the user through a recipe while showing the steps on a Smart Display. We also build a mock stove which could be controlled by voice and the application.
This time I took the lead for the whole project and was significantly involved in programming the Alexa Skill and Smart Skill with Node.js. In the picture you can see me presenting our finished project.
